I am unable to configure VMS on the OBi 2182, can anyone offer pointers to what is minimum account info and where to enter?

The critical piece of info: your voip.ms voicemail is at *97.

You’ll need to associate a voicemail account with your phone’s subaccount:
And you’ll need to configure your phone to use that number to check for messages.
I don’t have an OBi 2182. But I have the somewhat similar Polycom VVX 411. Here’s how I configure it on my phone’s web gui:
With this, you can press the physical Messages button to see your message count, and dial the voicemail system:
