Is there a setting or a workaround to have the outbound Caller ID not display my name or number?
There are many times this would be useful.
Thanks!

I’m sure I have features enabled on VOIP.ms, but still the Grandstream features are not working. Does anyone else have any suggestions? Thanks.
On what device? The features built in to the Grandstream ATAs and phones can be turned off. Perhaps that is what you are seeing?
Download a copy of the User Guide for the relevant Grandstream. (e.g 80X User Guide https://www.grandstream.com/hubfs/Product_Documentation/ht80x_user_guide.pdf )
Check out the list of call features. You are looking for
Block Caller ID (per call). Dial “*67” +” number”.
No dial tone is played in the middle.
As I understand it, the way this works is that headers are sent asking for your call to be displayed as PRIVATE or ANONYMOUS rather than using the Caller Id information set on your phone. (Caller ID information supplied by your phone can also be ignored / replaced by voip.ms).
There’s fractionally more information in the Administration guide - worth downloading that from Grandstream too..
