VOIP.MS offers inbound call filtering based on CID, and that’s very handy.
Financial scams often begin with a prompt to call the scammer’s number. I’d like to protect some of my elderly clients who use VOIP.MS by maintaining an outbound call white list on the VOIP.MS website, allowing them to call only their friends, children, doctors, etc.
Outbound call filtering can be done on Grandstream phones and ATAs, for example, by customizing the dial plan. But from afar, it’s tedious to get into the device to maintain the white list. It would be much easier if I could do it on the VOIP.MS website.
How hard would it be for VOIP.MS to offer outbound call filtering?
