When you are expecting a call from a new caller that you don’t know ahead of time what their number is, and if you don’t want the call to be caught by your caller-ID filtering rules but you don’t want to delete what could be dozens or hundreds of rules, the ability to have a check-box to enable or disable the caller-ID filtering rules would be EXTREMELY useful.
