Hi, I am unable to get my voip.ms account working. I am using groundwire softphone software, voip.ms just is always red meaning it is not allowing me to connnect. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hello, how do i start a new topic, i can’t see it the new topic button anywhere?

Is this even an active business anymore? I have been waiting for a month for my acvcount to be activated. What gives? Is this a ā€˜move along, nothing to see here’ kind of biz?

Likewise, my friends. Did you find the ā€œNew Topicā€ button? I’m sure it’s easy to find, but I must be a dunce.

EDIT:

If you scroll down when viewing the topics, at the bottom there is a link ā€œStart a new conversationā€. Clicking that looks like I can create a topic, however when I was done typing and clicked to start the new topic, I got the error, ā€œAn error occurred: You are not permitted to view the requested resource.ā€

Same, this is kind of annoying. Do we some sort of validation? I’m surprise nobody answered to this comment yet.

I was able to verify your post and no, currently new users are not able to post right away, since you do require to gain trust level 1 , this is easily achieved over just by spending a bit over the forum and reading post, usually users would gain this within the first 20 minutes.

Nonetheless, I already updated your trust level , you should be able to post right now, let me know if this is not the case so I can review furtherā€œ

Support doesn’t answer tickets, the ā€˜Live Chat’ is a useless bot, and the only other suggestion on the site is these forums.
Which now don’t have a button to start a new post.

Really annoying considering I can’t make Internal calls, even thought according to their wiki everything is setup correctly.

Yep, same experience here. Live Chat is always ā€œbusier than expectedā€, email support takes days and not exactly helpful either. I used this forum initially a few months back to get help on initial setup (thanks to forum members I got it setup), now I am back due to new issue (randomly my device no longer registers) and can’t even create a new post for help from community. Very disappointing … thinking of just ditching voim.ms and going elsewhere at this point.

I created a ticket on 2025-12-10, and an email ticket on 2025-12-11.

Neither have been answered, and I needed to make a critical support call to Germany.
But Keep getting ā€œCall Failed - Service Unavailableā€

Local calls inbound & outbound work OK. And the device shows Registered in the control panel.
