For the past year, we’ve been burning the midnight oil to improve our offerings and ensure you get the best the VoIP market has to offer.
And we wanted to let you, our community, know first-hand what’s coming up in Q2:
We’re adding an AI Voice Agent feature with two different settings (one that can be set up in 5 minutes or less and another fully customizable).
Our Customer Portal will undergo a complete revamp, adding more flexibility and increasing transparency and control over your billing, accounts, and features.
Both launches will be released first as beta versions (you can sign up to be a tester by emailing support@voip.ms) before we open them to the public. Our goal is to guarantee that we’re delivering features and improvements that actually make your life (and your business) better.
Rest assured, there are other launches coming up this year (like a big update to our MS Teams integration), and we’ll let you know when they’re ready. Our team is excited and motivated to make 2026 a great year for VoIP.ms and our community.
Thank you for sharing the updates. It is good to see movement on new features, and the AI Voice Agent and Customer Portal changes sound like they could be useful additions depending on how they are implemented.
I do hope the customer service team will be better equipped to respond to issues related to these new features, as support for currently supported features has often lacked clear responses and timely updates.
Are these new features developed by VoIP.ms or just upstream updates? Many issues with current features are attributed to the upstream provider, which makes it difficult to understand how much is truly VoIP.ms driven.
Thank you for keeping the community informed, and I will be watching to see how these updates progress.
This is not an official tech support or sales forum, if you have issues then you will need to contact support, or sales directly.
See my post here: New PBX Features Coming?
Thank you for outlining how these forums generally operate. I have gone through the appropriate channels many times, and I always begin with support when I need assistance. Unfortunately, I often do not receive clear answers or timely updates there, so if I do not receive them here either, it is not a significant loss. I am simply participating in the discussion like everyone else.
To clarify my earlier post, I was not asking for technical support or sales assistance. I was offering feedback on the update and asking a broader question about whether the new features are developed internally or provided by the upstream carrier. That is a question about platform direction and transparency rather than a troubleshooting request.
I appreciate you keeping expectations clear for anyone who is looking for support. My intention here was to engage in the conversation about the update and to understand how much of it is driven by VoIP.ms compared to the upstream provider.
Are there any plans to improve messaging so received messages arrive without long delays?
That’s the main issue that stops me from using my number more. Outgoing texts get sent immediately. But incoming texts can take up to a minute to arrive.
New AI features are certainly great news. However, I would like to see some efforts in improving the basic VOIP functions. One is the delays in receiving SMS messages. The delay just make the system feels like non-complete.
