Seeing news about “AI Voice Agents” got me wondering - why not have a feature for generating static message recording (like - “You’ve reached X but I’m not here so please leave a message”. You type the text of the message, select the voice you want to say it, the audio file gets created and stored in your recording list for what-ever you want (IVR, voice-mail announcement, etc).
I do this now, using 3’rd party websites that perform text-to-speech and sometimes I like the voice to be that of a well-known personality or celebrity. Some of these sites will store the result as an mp3 file that you download, other times I have to activate a stream audio recorder on my PC to capture the audio and save it to an mp3 file. Having this ability inside voip.ms would save a lot of time and be a cool feature.
