For those having the issue where you can make outbound calls but inbound calls don’t work and you’re using sub-accounts, I think I’ve got a fix. I received the reply below from customer support.
-
The server assigned to subaccounts must match the server of the number.
To update the server for the number, please log in to the customer portal and follow these steps:
Go to the DID Numbers menu and click on Manage DIDs.
Under Actions, click the Edit (orange) button.
Select the desired server from the dropdown.
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

Mine was not set to anything. Once I set it, inbound calls worked.
Hey people. System won’t let me post a new thread so I am posting here. My HT702 was password protected from viopo.
I reset it as described in the wiki (and owners manual) AND ITS NOW BRCKED.
It does light up, and I can find its IP address via my router. But the internal configuration page will not load. I get no dial tone and the *** commands do not work.
It worked prior to the factory reset – just could not get in because of the password.
I suspect that voipo boobytraped some of these devices to self destruct on reset rather than being used with a different system. Doubt they will admit to it.
Now I’m in the market for a new device…… What a headache
I accidentally bricked mine this morning. VOIPO didn’t boobytrap them. To get it back, I think I unplugged it from power as well as ethernet, then plugged it back in and re-did the factory reset.
Former VOIPo user here with HT702 1.0.10.3. It’s showing registered with main account OK, but I can neither place nor receive calls. I set everything up like they described in the email and Wiki page for the HT702.
I tried that twice. I cannot get it to load the settings page. Still refuses to respond to ***. Does anyone know – does a device that is functional, but not set up still give a dial tone? I don’t get a dial tone now. Just silence……
A reminder … if you are connecting more than one device you need to create (free) sub_accounts for each device (no sharing). Don’t connect a device to the main account. If you try to connect two devices to the same sub account you will have issues.
If you want all of your devices to ring at the same time put them in a Ring Group (limit eight SIP devices). Then point your DID at the Ring Group. That is the most basic configuration for multiple devices.
The ring group also allows up to four “forwarders” which can be NOMOROBO and/or cell phones or other numbers.
After getting your devices to ring you can then add other features such as voicemail or get creative with the other features.
I added a single voicemail account and then went back to Manage DIDs, clicked failover at the right and then went through the Busy, Unreachable and No Answer tabs to set failover to voicemail. If nobody answers the phone the call goes to the account level voicemail.
After adding voicemails I went in to the sub accounts and linked each to the voicemail. Now I have studder dial tone and voicemail lights on each device when there is a new voicemail. I also added the cell phone app to a sub account. I plan on leaving that on “do not disturb” unless I want to answer the home phone when away from home.
x = a digit 0-9, star = star, + means any additional digits so basically x+ is any dial string starting with a digit, *x+ is any dial string starting with a star followed by one or more digits.
Yes, I have dial tone. But keying in a number on the phone just results in silence. No “ringing” sound of the destination. Inbound calls show up in the log, but do not ring the attached phone.
I’m having a problem coming over from VOIPO with a Grandstream H802. I did a factory reset on the Grandstream, but I get an error message that the password is incorrect. I used a default PW of admin. Am seeking help from anyone else using this device.
