So I am curious about the causes of delay in SMS. What I have observed there are no issues in sending and receiving SMS using the SMS web center (or voip.ms SMS app). This means SMS arrives at the voip.ms server with no issues, The delay occurs in delivering from the server to a sub account. From the support, the delay is inherent due the way how SMS works in sip. If that is the case, then would it be a good idea to integrate the SMS part of the softphone directly using the APIs?
I think API integration would be the best path, if the goal is speed and reliability.

In addition, there is no compatibility issues since the voip.ms app is meant to be used only by voip.ms users.
