Cellphone in Ring Group keeps ringing forever, even after call goes to Voice Mail

New VOIP.MS customer as of today. Everything working great so far, with one exception. Let me explain the setup, and the question…

Incoming calls are routed as follows:

  1. CALL HUNTING: Nomorobo for 1 ring, then…
  2. RING GROUP: Home ATA device and one Cellphone (Zoiper softphone)

If the call is not spam and makes it to the Ring Group, both ring OK. If nobody at Home answers the phone, the caller gets Voice Mail.

The Problem: Even after the caller has left a voice mail, the cell phone keeps ringing, forever. I would have expected the cell phone / softphone to stop ringing, once the 5 ring limit has been reached and the call is sent to VoiceMail.

I’d love some advice on how to get the cell phone / softphone to stop ringing, once the call has either been answered by the Home, or the call has been sent to Voice Mail.
