Internet Adapter: OBI200
Cell Phone: Google Pixel 6A
Carrier: Verizon
When I call my cell ph. using VOIP.ms through my OBI200 adapter, the call does not ring my cell ph. and goes directly to Voicemail:
“Your call has been forwarded to an automated voice messaging system. Ph. no. not available, at the tone leave your message”.
I can call other phone numbers (including wife’s Apple cell) and it works normally. Inbound calls to my VOIP.ms DID no. are also normal.
Anyone have a fix idea for this?

I can see a few possible causes:
- Your OBI200 or account/subaccount is not providing a proper Caller ID and/or Caller ID Name and your cell phone or your carrier is seing it as a spam and rejecting it.
- You have unknowingly or involuntarily blocked the Caller ID provided by the OBI200 on your cell phone.
- You are possibly using an unsupported Codec on your OBI200. I had a similar problem before with G.722 when calling my cell phone only, all calls to other destinations were getting through normally. Try G.711 and see if it works.
- You are using Wi-Fi calling on your cell phones (some providers offer this feature where the calls are routed through a Wi-Fi connection whenever a connection is available instead of the 5G network). The theory here is that the VoIP.ms call is using the same IP address (your home IP address) as the WiFi calling and there is a conflict between them. Try disabling WiFi on your cell phone and see if you can now make you cell phone ring from your VoIP.ms call.
- If it is a new cell line or a new VoIP DID, it can take up to 48 hours to propagate in the PSTN. During that time, calls may not route correctly everywhere. If this is your case, just waiting a day or two may solve the problem.
Hope this will help!

@philsobi I have though about a way to diagnose the culprit: isolate the OBI200.
Create a new subaccount with a configuration similar to the subaccount or main account you are using with your OBI200, including the Caller ID or DID selection. Then use this subaccount in an app on your PC such as MicroSIP (this app is free).
If the call from MicroSIP to your cell works, then the OBI200 or your subaccount configuration would most likely be the cause. If the call still does not make your cell phone ring, then a deeper routing problem may be present. In the latter case, I would recommend you to open a support ticket with VoIP.ms… I can tell you first hand that they are pretty useful with this kind of questions.
Good luck with your troubleshooting!

that would definitely narrow it down.
