Suddenly started getting calls from “test” and “trunk1” about every 15 minutes. Prior to this a couple of days ago I had set up sub-accounts for three handsets. No issues then. When answering these weird calls there is no voice or any audio. Live chat just said put a filter on caller id - but this does not fix the root cause. Any suggestions?

Just maybe: some devices have an option like “Check SIP User ID for incoming INVITE” which once disabled prevents any direct IP calling. I always set it to yes to avoid this kind of call.

This might be out of scope, we filter on the router source IP addresses. We allow from our local SIP server and VoIP. ms addresses.
Currently 208.100.60.0/24 is the server range.
I did the “INVITE” and as well set the random port on the Grandstream DP750 - seems to have worked - no more ghost calls.
