GS HT701 no audio

I have used the 701 Non-Registered to connect through another ATA successfully,
but when I changed route to login to VMS, there is no audio before call answer, so no ring back tone, busy tone, or recordings can be heard.
Also 802 refuses to connect at all. Are there any working sample configs available? Followed Wiki suggestions.
Any tips or tricks from Grandstream users?

Hi… considering how many settings there are and could be wrong, it may not be possible to give suitable advice without seeing the settings. In any case, when you set up your ATAs, have you implemented the suggested settings given in the wiki?

After days of re-entering recommended settings my 701 came to life.
It had exhibited one way audio, and one way connecting, ( sometimes inc. other times OG only)
One minute reboot very frustrating.

However my 802 has no indication of successfully calling or being called, so may send settings copy to Support Desk.
Require Grandstream for dial pulse phones.
Temporarily using Linksys 2100,as they are simple to get working.

Are you using a secured TLS connection? (I owned a 701, and now have a 802.) I only use TLS and it solved all my connectivity problems. A bad or unstable internet connection can be an issue too, but really, TLS makes all the difference.

It appears new 802 are not shipped with clean settings. I did a Voip/ISP/Full reset and everything started working fine.When working, connections are stable,
except for the occasional drop to all VMS servers,(all Cisco phones have separate accounts and they all light up at the same time).
It appears all problems have been resolved.
