I used Nomorobo with VoIPo to filter spam calls, and now I’m trying to set it up with VOIP.ms.
The Nomorobo wiki page at https://wiki.voip.ms/article/Nomorobo says ‘enter the Nomorobo Number, retrived in your control panel‘ Where is that? How to I find the Nomorobo number?
UPDATE: I found it. Had to log into nomorobo.com and jump through a bunch of hoops to get it. The Nomorobo wiki page at https://wiki.voip.ms/article/Nomorobo needs to be updated.
Another thing that tripped me up was the callerid number override in the forwarding. I had to set it to ‘None‘. This wasn’t specified in the wiki
However, I finally did get Nomorobo to work with my VOIP.ms number.
The wiki is basically the instruction one finds when setting up the account at NoMoRobo (except the number tied to your account is included). I forgot I even had a login at NoMoRobo!
And yes, the CallerID Number Override does default to “capable of passing its own CallerID” on a new forward. The Wiki shows an older layout with less options.
