@Michael Kourlas. I wanted to acknowledge your great app Voipms SMS. Your approach of using voip.ms’s API means that I can pickup either device, my android cellphone or android tablet, and continue a text conversation. With your app I see the full discussion, incoming and outgoing messages on whichever device I pickup.
I just bought Acrobits Groundwire to consolidate phone and sms and take advantage of push notification on calls to minimize battery consumption, but with Groundwire between my phone and tablet, each device only has the text conversation in which in was involved. If I read a message on my tablet, I then don’t see that message on my phone. If I send a text in Groundwire on my tablet, I don’t see that message on the phone. However, with the voip.ms SMS app, I see the entire conversation on whatever device. I took it for granted that’s how texting should work with any app but Voip.ms SMS is the only app I’ve found that does that.
