Please reduction frequency of 2FA checks?

Hi,

This is probably related to the cyber attack from a few years ago.

But could you reduce the frequency requirements of the 2FA checks ?

Right now it is every single time I login.

And the timeout from inactivity is very short too.

Basically, every single time I send a SMS, I go through a login & email 2FA and I find this very annoying.

I’m ok with login every reboot or whatever.

But if I’m from the same IP address, or I have the session cookie, maybe 2FA me only once a month instead ?

And make the autologout at least 1 hour ?

And maybe support my FIDO key or even a smartcard instead of email 2FA, which is slow and annoying ? I rather push a button or swipe an access card !

Also, when I try to send SMS via Microsip it says

But the recipient does not receive the SMS message

I personally don’t see the 2FA check very often but I assume your working from multiple locations or devices often or your IP changes often, for me it’s not an issue.

What drives me absolutely batty is constantly being logged out of the VoIP.ms console. I would really like the console to remain open at least for 24 hours unless I specifically click logout.

Just my 2 cents.

I agree. I will be working on something, for example editing a spreadsheet, and when I go back to upload it, I am already logged out.
